Imag­ine your heart child’s name on a NASCAR car! Here’s your chance to do that and so much more!

Since our slo­gan is “Rais­ing Big Hope 4 Tiny Hearts”, we thought it was only fit­ting that when we talk about our National Cam­paign for CHD Aware­ness that we use “Rac­ing Big Hope 4 Tiny Hearts!”  I hope you are excited, because we cer­tainly are! This is a won­der­ful oppor­tu­nity to raise aware­ness and work together to beat heart defects. While med­ical advances have helped save many lives, heart defects con­tinue to take far too many lives and this is our chance to step in and make a dif­fer­ence. For this effort, the Chloe Duyck Memo­r­ial Fund (AKA Hope 4 Tiny Hearts) part­nered with Kenny Wal­lace and Jay Robin­son Rac­ing to present the Hope 4 Tiny Hearts #28 Chevy in the Bris­tol Nation­wide Series Nascar Race.  Kenny Wal­lace is a vet­eran NASCAR Dri­ver with 9 wins in the NASCAR Nation­wide Series in addi­tion to being voted “fan favorite” four times. You may also see him on SpeedTV as the host of Race Day and Vic­tory Lane.

One beau­ti­ful aspect of this cam­paign is that we are wel­com­ing everyone’s sto­ries about CHDs…Survivors and angels are included because it takes both to truly rep­re­sent heart defects.   For every­one that shares their child’s story on their per­sonal fundrais­ing page (link to get started is below) and raises at least $20, your child’s name will be placed on the #28 Hope 4 Tiny Hearts NASCAR.  Are you an adult with a CHD? We wel­come you to par­tic­i­pate as well. You are also a part of the CHD story and we want your story to be told. We would love to honor you, your story and your bat­tle with CHDs. Here’s a fun lit­tle side note: The per­son that raises the most money will receive a spe­cial prize — a choice of a lim­ited edi­tion die-cast replica of the car or two tick­ets to the race!

So, first thing, go to our cause on change.org and start your own fundrais­ing page.  Here you can share your story and a pic­ture while you raise funds in mem­ory or in honor of your loved one that has bat­tled heart defects.  You will have the abil­ity to choose when your page expires.  Please choose a date that is around the begin­ning of Sept.  (Once a page expires, we can­not see your child’s name to make sure it is included).  It will be so pow­er­ful for all of us to share our sto­ries, raise aware­ness and see “The Her­mana­tor” rac­ing around the track FOR our pre­cious heart babies, chil­dren and adults!  If we all band together, we can cer­tainly make a difference!

After you’ve cre­ated your page, make sure to share it with friends and ask friends to share it with friends and fam­ily as well.  Also, when you are done with your page, please send us a note and the link to your site — . We will be com­pil­ing a list of all of our heart chil­dren and fam­i­lies that are par­tic­i­pat­ing. If there is any­one that does not raise $20 and they want their child’s name on the car, we will try to help with that too.
